Soroptimist International is the world’s largest organization of classified service clubs for women. Started in 1921 in Oakland, California. It has just completed 86 years. 

“There are four federations and India is part of The Great Britain and Ireland Federation”

The Soroptimist movement is seeing unprecedented growth in Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. 

Across the World Soroptimist has one constant factor and common thread that has stood the test of time-OUR OBJECTIVE  

Enhancing the status of women through education and skill training , generating International goodwill and understanding, reaching across borders to reduce the impact of conflict on women. Endorsing full and equal enjoyment by women of all human rights. Ensuring access to Health Services and Enabling  the girl-child  to reach her full potential. 

At our charters we commit ourselves to work within these objectives. We also offer opportunities for personal development, networking, friendships and sharing skills.
